Alpental Freeride Team consists of top level freeriders and coaches from the Northwest who inspire passion, fun, commitment, sportsmanship, and who continue to pursue excellence in everything they do on the mountain. This program is for elite skiers and riders who have competed or know they are ready to compete in IFSA Freeride competitions. While at home, the Team trains at Alpental, in the terrain park, and other locations across The Summit. The team works on the skills and techniques that translate to success in competitions. While at competitions coaches work with athletes on: mindset, line selection, course inspection and the competition readiness.

Our most popular freeride program, this 12 week program is focused on the full spectrum of freeride skill development. With the goal of learning cliffs, drops and jumps, and cranking out inspiring turns between; athletes should already be comfortable skiing or riding off-piste black diamond terrain. Alpental Freeride uses all available terrain for athlete progression, including; steeps, bumps, race courses, groomers, etc.

Learn from the best park coaches in the region! Central Freestyle groups spend most of their time in Central Park and Greenhorn Acres learning everything from the basics of jibbing to stomping 540s. It's not all park laps though, ride groups also spend time shredding the rest of Summit Central. 40 hours of coaching time.

Designed for advanced and expert adult skiers who are looking to challenge themselves and improve their technical and tactical racing skills. The program is a great training resource for skiers who compete in PNSA Masters races, ex-racers looking to get back into the gates for fun, and high-level recreational skiers looking to advance their skills.

• Registration includes access to training three nights a week, for eight weeks
• Previous racing experience is not required
